6th Grade Identifies Subject Complements

The 6th graders worked together to identify predicate nominatives, predicate adjectives, direct and indirect objects in Language today. They created a Google document and used different fonts, colors and underlining to identify the subject complements before sharing the document with the teacher.

Building Skills!

5th graders have been learning about battles of the Revolutionary War. Students created a KWL chart, then researched Valley Forge using multiple sources including their textbook, a website and a video. Students discussed their findings and some were inspired to do further research.

Then we switched gears to sharpen our spatial thinking by examining an interactive battle map online and completing the Skillbuilder lesson on Reading a Battle Map in our textbooks.
