Drama Club has had an exciting and eventful year. As it draws to an end, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Drama Club members for their effort, creativity and enthusiasm. This year’s Drama Club will hold its last meeting on Wednesday, May 30 from 3:30-4:15 in room 5. I hope to see some of you in the club next year!

On Saturday, January 28th , members of the Academic Decathlon Team participated in the Quiz Bowl at
Cathedral High School. The students competed in two team events and eight individual events. Rainier Martin placed 5th in Current Events. Ramon Cardenas placed 5th in English. Maisie Rivera placed 1st in Math. The team placed 3rd in the Super Quiz. Congratulations to the members who participated: Joanna Pineda, Jonathan Torres, Nina Csombor, Vijay Patel, Stephanie Gonzalez, JP Garcia, Megan Islas, Genessis Hernandez, Hugo Rios, Rainier Martin, Alec Sequeira, Caitlin Hernandez, Lauren Sotez, Maisie Rivera, Desiree Cabrera, and Ramon Cardenas. Good luck to the entire decathlon team as your continue to study and prepare for the big event on March 10TH
Student Council Wear Jeans for a Dollar Day Please no “Skinny” Jeans

Our next Student Council sponsored Wear Jeans for a Dollar Day Fundraiser is this Thursday February 9th. As stated in our handbooks “Skinny” jeans are not to be worn to school. We appreciate your cooperation in having your child dress appropriately for school. Students must wear either an OLPH Spirit Wear Top or School Uniform Top with their jeans.
Last week the OLPH Drama Club presented the Invisible Man.

What is going on at the Coach & Horses Inn?
Unexplained robberies? A mysterious man wrapped in bandages? Lousy cooking?
Find out at the Drama Club’s performance of “The Invisible Man” Tuesday, January 31st at 7:00 pm in the school auditorium. Tickets are on sale after school and at the door the night of the performance.
Pre-sale tickets are $3.00 for students and $5.00 for adults. Please see Mrs. Arcadio to purchase tickets. All tickets are $5.00 at the door.
