Our annual Sports Award Night and “Banquet” will be held this Thursday evening, May 19th at 6:00 p.m. in the Hall. Awards will be distributed after dinner. This year’s cheerleaders and athletes will be recognized on this evening. The admission price is $5.00 which includes pizza, salad, dessert and drink. Please see this newsletter for more information.

NRG Cheer & Dance Competition
A Cheer took First Place in Junior High Novice Show Cheer and B Cheer took 2nd Place in Elementary Novice Show Cheer. They also earned the Platinum Award, which is given to the team with the highest overall score. The competition took place in Claremont, CA. The OLPH B Team is made of 4th & 5th graders. The A Team is made up of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Graders. We congratulate the girls and their coaches, Mrs. Mendoza and Mrs. Mongan! Great Job Girls!!
The teams will compete again on February 26th at Knott’s Berry Farm. Good Luck ladies!
The Girl’s A Basketball Team had a successful season under the leadership of Mr. Murphy and Mr. Omar! We bid a fond farewell to Mr. Murphy as coach. He and his daughter will be moving on to high school next year. However, Mr. Omar is looking forward to coaching again next year!

The Girls Varsity Volleyball team practices on Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Occasionally game dates, times and locations change so always check with the coach.
