Grade 2 Christian Service Project

Each week members of the parish gather in the school kitchen to make sandwiches that are delivered to the homeless on skid row.  On one Tuesday a month, for their Christian Service Project, our second grade students bake cookies for the Parish Sandwich Program.  Each student is asked to bring in a packaged cookie dough and the second graders assemble in the school hall to shape and bake the cookies. Our students enjoy this activity and learn about the importance of giving to others in need.
