Penance

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:9

On February 9th, 2010 our students will be receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We will continue to study our 10 commandments this week. The second graders have been working hard to review them daily and discuss how we can follow God’s rules. Feel free to review them with your child daily:

1.Have no other gods before me.

2.Honor God’s name.

3.Keep holy the Lords day.

4.Honor your parents.

5.Do not murder.

6.Do not commit adultery.

7.Do not steal.

8.Do not lie.

9.Do not covet your neighbor’s wife.

10. Do not covet your neighbor’s goods.

Thank you for your assistance and partnership in preparing our children for this most special Sacrament. They are very excited.
